Description
GLOTRAX-TZ 1125 Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination formulated to treat moderate to severe bacterial infections, including infections caused by beta-lactamase producing organisms. The addition of Tazobactam enhances the activity of Ceftriaxone against resistant pathogens.
Mechanism of Action
- Ceftriaxone: A third-generation cephalosporin that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis
- Tazobactam: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Ceftriaxone from enzymatic degradation, improving efficacy
