Description
GLOTRAX-TZ 562.5 Injection is a broad-spectrum antibiotic combination designed to combat beta-lactamase-producing bacteria. The addition of Tazobactam enhances the efficacy of Ceftriaxone, making it effective against resistant strains.
Mechanism of Action
- Ceftriaxone: A third-generation cephalosporin that inhibits bacterial cell wall synthesis
- Tazobactam: A beta-lactamase inhibitor that protects Ceftriaxone from enzymatic degradation
